    ABS-CBN’s “Destined Hearts” gets two Emmy® nominations

    Destined HeartsABS-CBN’s top-rating and highest-selling drama series “Destined Hearts” (Dahil May Isang Ikaw) received two nominations for the 38th International Emmy® Awards.

    From the list released by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences consisting of 39 nominees in 10 categories and spanning 15 countries, “Destined Hearts” came out as one of the few contenders for Best Telenovela. Moreover, one of the lead actors of the series Sid Lucero also earned the Academy’s recommendation for Best Performance by an Actor.

    Destined Hearts” is produced by ABS-CBN Corporation, the largest content provider in the Philippines. Last year, ABS-CBN also received a performance nomination for “She-Wolf”’ (Lobo) which, in addition, was proclaimed Best Telenovela at the BANFF World Television Awards in Canada.

    Winners of the 38th International Emmy® Awards were announced last November 22, 2010 at the Hilton New York Hotel in a formal ceremony hosted by Actor/Director Jason Priestley.
