Robin Padilla says he is also hurt by the cancellation of his movie with Toni Gonzaga

Prior to Pilipinas Win na Win, Robin Padilla was reluctant to host a daily noontime show because he was worried that he might not have time to do movies anymore. But he explained that ABS-CBN management promised him that this won’t happen.

Robin also aired his side on the cancellation of his movie with Toni Gonzaga. Shooting for the movie had been underway for six days before it was shelved. Toni had said at that time that the press should also get Robin’s side because it did not seem fair that she was the only one to do the explaining about the movie’s sudden end.

“Isang binibining ginagalang natin si Ms. Toni kaya kung anuman ang kanyang iminungkahi at sinasabi, ating susundan ‘yon,” Robin said, but added that he is not the proper person to ask about the matter.

And while he is still waiting to shoot his next film, Robin assured that viewers can expect him to perform—in addition to hosting—on Pilipinas Win na Win. He revealed that fans, who petitioned that he host a noontime program, also asked to see him do production numbers.

The action superstar also feels privileged about sharing the stage of Pilipinas Win na Win with Kris Aquino, his former leading lady. Robin said that he, together with the other hosts, are willing to give their one hundred percent support to the Queen of All Media for the success of their show.
