Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus's latest evictee Marc Josef Elizalde said he never meant to fall in love with fellow housemate Nicole Uysiuseng

Prior to PBB, Elizalde had a girlfriend who broke up with him as Elizalde's affection towards Uysiuseng became apparent in the widely watched reality television show.

In an interview on The Buzz Sunday, Elizalde, accompanied by his aunt and PBB guardian Anna, admitted that he fell for the Cebuana lass, but added that they are still not yet at that stage that they would be an official couple.

As their popularity as the most visible love team in PBB's current season rose, the blogosphere was abuzz about a blog entry by someone identified as Josef's former girlfriend, who said she was "too good a woman" for him.

Elizalde explained that falling in love with the Cebuana lass was not a remote possibility because they were living in an environment where they were only able to interact with their fellow housemates and their guardians.

"We did not mean that to happen. But we were in a closed environment and we couldn't help it," he told hosts Cristy Fermin and Ruffa Gutierrez.

Elizalde added that he respects his ex-girlfriend's decision to break up with him and wish her "all the happiness." He added, though, that he wish to personally talk to her and straighten things between them.

Elizalde, who has been nominated for eviction four times before being voted off, said he conditioned himself about the possibility of leaving the PBB house in the past eviction nights. He said that he accepts the decision of the public "wholeheartedly."

His aunt echoed his sentiments. "We defer to the decision of the masses. We have to accept and respect the support they gave us," she said.

She also said that this was proof that even if they are well-off and are capable of saving the teen housemate by voting en masse, the will of the voting public always prevails in evicition nights.

The 16-year-old lad from Mandaluyong also appealed to his supporters to also support Uysiuseng so that she could be part of the reality show's final four.
