Recent SWS survey of 2010 Presidential candidates showed Senator Manny Villar inching close second to Senator Noynoy Aquino, who has been in the lead in the past survey results.  Kris Aquino, who joined her elder brother Noynoy in a campaign sortie in Zamboanga City, admitted to ABS-CBN News that she is worried over Noynoy’s drop in the survey.  “Kaplastikan namang sabihin na hindi kami worried but we're confident na babalik kami.”

Kris, known as the Queen of All Media, finally had the chance to join her brother in a sortie.  Kris had to find time amidst her busy schedule—taping for the teleserye Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo and reality-talent show Pilipinas Got Talent—plus an array of commercial shoots and pictorials, so she can contribute to Noynoy’s bid for presidency.  She had also been told that solid Noynoy supporters in Zamboanga City are insisting that she grace the sortie.  Upon arriving at the Zamboanga airport, Kris expressed her excitement over her Twitter account.  “If reception sa airport is an indication- Zamboanga is BONGGACIOUS!” she wrote.  She is with husband basketball star James Yap and son Baby James.

On her Twitter account she also said that she found being on the campaign trail a better thing that being caught in showbiz intrigues, referring to the latest controversy involving her and Ruffa Gutierrez.  “I think much better for me to be on campaign trail than be caught up in showbiz issues that won't help our country.”

Kris will also be joining her brother in sorties scheduled in other provinces in Mindanao and Visayas.  “Ang next na pupuntahan ko is Davao. Iloilo muna ako tapos Davao. Pero kung iboboto ninyong overwhelmingly si Noy, definitely babalik ako dadalhin ko si Baby James. Kasama ni Noy, magkita-kita tayo!,” she told ABS-CBN News.
