Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, and Kathryn Bernardo speak up about dealing with Twitter bashers

Tatlo lamang sina Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, and Kathryn Bernardo sa mga kapamilya stars na nasa social networking site na Twitter. At sa kontrobersiya na kinasasangkutan ng ilan sa mga artista dahil sa pagpahayag ng kanilang mga saloobin, hindi maiwasang may mga hindi sumang-ayon sa kanila at maghayag din ng mga hindi magagandang salita laban sa mga artistang ito.

Nang makausap ng Push.com.ph sina Enrique, Kathryn at Daniel, iisa lang ang naibigay nilang rason kung bakit sila may account sa Twitter at very active dito. Ayon kay Daniel, “Kasi para sa akin yung Twitter ang pinakamadaling source para makapag-update ka sa kanila (fans) kung anong meron, pwede mong sabihin kung saan ka pupunta.” Ganun din ang kay Kathryn, “Kasi feeling ko, ito yung way para makacommunicate ako sa fans kasi hindi lahat nakakausap ko. Kaya yung Twitter yung way para maka-communicate ako sa kanila. Tapos kahit papaano makakasagot ako sa kanila para huwag sila magtampo at para makakuha sila ng updates tungkol sa akin.”

Pero pareho sina Daniel at Enrique na noong una ay walang interes sa social media pero naiba ito dahil sa request ng kanilang mga tagasubaybay, lalo na sa kaso ni Enrique. “Well yeah kasi for one thing yung mga fans laging nagsasabi na, ‘Uy mag-Twitter ka na, mag-Tweet ka na please,’ e nagpromise ako nao sige magtwe-tweet ako although hindi ko prinomise kung kalian. At nung nasa Bhutan ako e walang maggawa dun ako nagstart.” Para naman kay Daniel, “Kasi dati ‘di ko talaga trip mag-Twitter kasi hindi naman ako mahilig mag-internet ganyan pero nung nagtwi-twitter mga kaibigan ko gumawa ako. Tapos tweet-tweet minsan nakakadik din pag nabasa mo yung mga updates, ayun nakakatuwa.

Ngunit hindi tulad ng ibang mga artista na nakakatanggap ng mga hate tweets at bashers sa kanilang account, wala pang kahit na anong natatanggap si Enrique na masakit o anumang hindi magandang kumento sa Twitter. Kaya naman nang matanong namin siya kung ano ang masasabi niya sa mga kapwa atistang sumasagot at hindi maiwasang pumatol sa mga bashers at haters, “Kung ako hindi ko na pinapatulan kasi siguro wala lang maggawa. Basta alam mo sa sarili mo na totoo dapat ‘di ka maapektuhan kasi I know hindi ako ganun kaya di ako magpapapekto. So ganun lang yun.”

Si Kathryn naman ay aminadong apektado kapag nakakatanggap ng kahit isang negative tweet. “Nahuhurt parati. Ako pa naman once na may mabasa lang ako na tweet sa akin na negative nabobother ako pero never ko sa pinatulan, never. Feeling ko pag pinatulan ko silamas gusto nila yung attention so deadma na lang pag ganun.”...
